Omatic Software | UX Writer, Content Strategist

Aug. 2021 – Present

  • Developed company writing standards guide using input from multiple departments to help guide voice and tone and create consistency across customer/user-facing communications (including marketing materials, user documentation, in-prodcut microcopy)

  • Led Omatic Cloud’s product knowledge base refresh, including conducting content audit, identifying high-priority articles that either needed to be created from scratch or edited from other authors and subject matter experts, and creating information architecture for user guide articles

  • Consulted directly with product managers, support staff, and developers to create comprehensive product documentation for Omatic Cloud (i.e., helmed the process from start to finish to gather information from subject matter experts, draft documentation material, guide drafts through multi-department review process, and publish finished user-facing product documentation on Omatic’s public user guide)

  • Drafted, edited, revised, and published user guide articles and documentation that made technical concepts (e.g., APIs, export/import services, webhooks, data processing) easy for the average user to understand

  • Collaborated with team members to write, edit, test, and approve in-product copy (e.g., error messages, page copy) to effectively communicate system requirements and necessary steps for using the product

  • Created in-product walk-through guides for updated features and functionality using Pendo

  • Guided strategy for where and how user-oriented written content should be presented during key steps in using the product

  • Contributed to UI design work in Figma
